Master’s student · Tohoku UniversitySendai, Japan

Hello, I’m Hanlin.

Exploring the power behind computation.

I study point-of-load (POL) power supplies for AI data centers at Tohoku University, with a focus on low-voltage, high-current DC–DC conversion and multiphase buck circuits. From circuit simulation to industry experience, I aim to turn technical understanding into practical problem-solving.

POWER ELECTRONICSRESEARCH / ENGINEERING / PEOPLE

Focused on technology. Connected to people.

From Akita to Sendai, the Tohoku region has shaped my education and everyday life. Alongside electrical and electronic engineering, I have gained experience in cross-cultural communication and teamwork. I enjoy breaking down complex problems, testing ideas, and improving them step by step.

Supporting AI, one power stage at a time.

My focus is the final voltage-conversion stage close to the chip: understanding efficiency, power density, and dynamic response at low output voltages and high currents.

01

Multiphase DC–DC conversion

Studying the operation and design challenges of high-current POL supplies, with a focus on 12 V to 1 V multiphase buck circuits.

02

Modeling & transient response

Using MATLAB / Simulink and LTspice to model circuits and investigate PWM control, output ripple, and responses to changing loads.

03

Devices in a system context

Working with development boards, schematics, and published technical material to connect power devices and controllers with AI data-center power architectures.
